As you know, both “Safety” and “Ecology” are very important concepts. We take a serious approach to this simple but important theme.
For example, can we protect the environment while blindly expanding the demand for natural materials—wood as commercial products?
Is the Earth’s energy conserved through the pursuit of technology and upgrading as well as the consumption of continually developed new commercial products? But will maintaining the old lifestyle and technology level ensure safety in our current society?
As a supplier of building materials, we challenge this simple but very difficult issue.
We continue to pursue our theme, the “simultaneous pursuit of Safety and Ecology,” with fireproof performance for wood-based materials, heat-insulating performance using wool as a natural material, and the comfort of soundproofing and sound absorption using recyclable materials.
Our group company is in Japan. Now, various building materials have been studied for this theme in Japan, which has limited natural land and is a forested country. We would like to broadly introduce these materials outside of Japan. Moreover, various materials have already been developed in Europe and the United States. We will organize such materials and introduce as well as provide them from our perspective.
We are working step by step so that every building will surely become an 'asset of society' while achieving a balance between the environment and safety.
